Elizabeth joined Beach Newman in 2013 and served the club in various positions with her five years as a member. She majored in English Education and Psychology, and is currently attending Loyola Marymount University to earn her Master’s. We thank Elizabeth for her years of service to Beach Newman!
"Going to the Catholic Newman club changed my life. I fell in love with my faith and experienced it in a much deeper way, and I also found my best friends. I want everyone that goes to CSULB, especially people who may have grown up in a lukewarm Catholic community not experiencing how awesome being Catholic is, to experience the Newman club. My college experience would not have been the same if I was not part of this club."
Romeo & Rhea
Romeo and Rhea first served Beach Newman as fellowship officers before both becoming presidents during different years. Romeo majored in Computer Science, and Rhea majored in Liberal Studies and then went on to earn her Master's. She is now a teacher at a Catholic elementary school. We congratulate them on their engagement! (Yes, they met at Newman)
During her years earning a Bachelor’s in Human Development at CSULB, Meredith was an active member in Beach Newman and served as an officer as well. She offered a great source of positivity and formed deep friendships along the way. After graduation, she has continued her ministry and is working in Catholic retreat centers. We congratulate Meredith on all of her successes!
